You’re not paying for a generic script or an hour of relaxation.
You’re investing in individualized treatment built around changing the automatic pattern that keeps interfering with your life.
John first determines what’s keeping the problem active, what treatment needs to change, and how much work it’ll take to make the better response dependable.
You’ll receive a clear recommendation and complete price before treatment begins.
Every hypnosis session is created specifically for you.
And “personalized” doesn’t mean inserting your name, your trigger, and the outcome you want into a prewritten script.
That’s like engraving your name on an off-the-shelf key. The key may now look personal, but its shape—the part that determines whether it fits—hasn’t changed.
Boise Hypnosis works differently.
John builds each intervention from the ground up around the actual contours of your pattern.
It’s the difference between labeling a generic key for you and cutting one, groove by groove, to fit the lock.
1. Map the Pattern
Before a single line of the intervention is created, John maps:
the trigger and automatic sequence;
what your mind expects in that moment;
the emotion giving the pattern its force;
what the old response provides, relieves, or protects against;
what has already changed and what still requires work;
the level where the intervention needs to operate;
and where the better response must become dependable in your life.
This determines what the session actually needs to accomplish.
2. Build the Intervention
John determines how the hypnosis should begin based on the treatment target, your natural absorption pathways, the current stage of treatment, and any relevant regulation or safety needs.
He then constructs the intervention line by line: language, rhythm, pacing, imagery or non-imagery structure, sensory focus, emotional intensity, perspective, corrective experience, rehearsal, identity work, sequence, and reinforcement. Each element must serve the target and work with the elements around it.
The goal isn’t to make a generic session sound personal. It’s to construct the right experience for your mind to learn from.
3. Audit and Refine
Once the intervention is built, it’s audited for:
target accuracy;
clinical fit;
updating logic;
client agency;
safety;
clarity;
spoken rhythm;
and real-world transfer.
If the underlying architecture doesn’t hold up, it’s rebuilt before it’s used.
That substantial work happens before you ever hear the finished hypnosis.
The price reflects this complete treatment process—not simply the time you spend in John’s office or on Zoom.
Your program also includes:
sessions that typically last about an hour;
a hypnotic intervention constructed and audited around you, the treatment target, and the current stage of the work;
the opportunity, in nearly every case, to record the personalized hypnosis portion of your session on your own smartphone;
clear instructions for using that recording between appointments;
review of what changes in daily life;
and ongoing refinement of later sessions based on your actual progress.
John uses a proprietary UAM-based clinical architecture to turn everything he learns about your pattern into treatment designed for accurate targeting, deliberate sequencing, functional personalization, and reliable change in the situations where the old response used to take over.

Larger programs are available in three-session increments when the situation requires them. John will explain the exact recommendation and price in your Personalized Treatment Plan.
These prices tell you what each program costs. They don’t tell you which program you need.
That depends on the pattern.
Value Is the Cost of Meaningful Change—Not the Price of an Hour
UAM-based hypnotherapy isn’t cheap. It’s designed to be focused, individualized treatment for problems that can become extraordinarily expensive when they remain unchanged.
Most people don’t question whether meaningful change is valuable. They question whether paying for treatment will actually produce it.
That skepticism is understandable. People have watched themselves or someone they know pay for therapy week after week while the problem continues. The real concern isn’t whether change is worth paying for. It’s whether the process can deliver change.
The price of one appointment is therefore the wrong comparison. The economically relevant question is what it costs—in money, time, and continued disruption—to achieve meaningful change.
Many people spend years in therapy—paying for session after session, giving up hour after hour of their lives, and learning to explain the problem in extraordinary detail—without getting the result they really wanted: change. They may understand where the pattern came from, recognize every trigger, and explain it completely—yet still experience the same automatic thoughts, emotions, bodily reactions, urges, or behaviors.
Talk therapy can provide valuable insight, support, skills, and appropriate mental-health care. But insight isn’t the same as updating the automatic process that keeps producing the problem. When a focused course of UAM-based treatment succeeds in changing what years of paid sessions haven’t changed, the total cost can be far lower—and it can return something money can’t replace: the hours and years no longer organized around the problem.
The same principle applies when comparing UAM-based treatment with lower-priced conventional hypnosis. A cheaper session isn’t a better value if a label-matched script misses the actual pattern and leaves the problem unchanged. An inexpensive intervention that doesn’t change the problem is expensive.
No responsible provider can guarantee a result or promise how quickly a particular person will change. But treatment value should be judged by the precision of the work, the total course required, the significance of the result, and whether the change holds—not merely by the hourly price.
How John Determines the Recommendation
There’s no honest universal session number.
A narrow, specific pattern may require less treatment. A problem involving several triggers, emotional functions, relationships, situations, or identity-level responses requires more.
The destination matters too.
Ending a narrow fear is a different scope of work from ending the fear and then developing exceptional performance in the same situation. Restoring ordinary confidence is different from building the composure, authority, recovery, and precision required at an elite level.
Treatment spans Relief → Freedom → Development → Excellence, but you’re never required to pursue more than the result you want. John’s recommendation reflects both the pattern that must change and the level of capability you choose to build.
John considers:
how long the pattern has been active;
whether it began with one powerful experience or developed gradually;
how many triggers and situations activate it;
what the pattern provides, relieves, or protects against;
whether it changes across different people or environments;
what previous attempts changed—and what they missed;
how much reinforcement the better response will need;
and where the change must become dependable in daily life.
When John confirms that treatment is appropriate, a Personalized Treatment Plan is the normal outcome after the consultation.
Your plan explains what John recommends, why that level of treatment fits, what the sessions will focus on, and what the complete program will cost.
You won’t have to guess which option applies to you.
A Single Session Isn’t Automatically the Best Value
A single session is available for $247.
For the right problem, one session may be an appropriate recommendation. But a single appointment isn’t a substitute for a complete program when the pattern involves several triggers, functions, or real-life situations.
Feeling better once isn’t the same as changing the response everywhere it operates.
John recommends enough treatment to address the pattern, strengthen the better response, and prepare it for the situations where you need it.
The goal isn’t the fewest possible sessions. It’s meaningful change that holds.
Nicotine Cessation Programs
There’s no single nicotine package that fits everyone.
Nicotine patterns differ in how strongly they’re tied to relief, reward, routine, identity, relationships, and previous relapse. Some are relatively focused. Others have become woven through nearly every part of daily life.
Nicotine cessation programs typically range from 3 to 12 sessions, offered in three-session increments. John recommends the appropriate program after understanding the individual pattern.
Nicotine programs use the same pricing shown above. There’s no separate nicotine surcharge.
Full payment is required before appointments are scheduled.
Payment can be completed:
by phone;
through a secure payment link;
through a Square invoice with Afterpay financing for qualified clients;
or through a Stripe invoice with Klarna financing for qualified clients.
Afterpay and Klarna determine eligibility and approval. Boise Hypnosis doesn’t control their decisions.
Once payment is complete, appointments are scheduled immediately whenever possible.
Clients commonly use HSA cards as ordinary card payments. Whether a hypnotherapy expense is eligible, reimbursable, or tax-advantaged is determined by your plan and plan administrator—not Boise Hypnosis.
Insurance
Boise Hypnosis doesn’t accept or bill insurance.
It also doesn’t provide:
superbills;
diagnosis or procedure codes;
insurance treatment plans;
medical-necessity letters;
claim forms;
or other documents prepared for insurance reimbursement.
Ordinary payment receipts are available. They shouldn’t be treated as insurance documentation.
Important Program Terms
You’ll receive the complete client agreement before treatment begins. The key terms include:
All sessions must be paid for before they’re scheduled.
Purchased sessions remain available for six months from the original purchase date unless Boise Hypnosis approves an extension in writing.
Schedule changes require at least two business days’ notice. Weekends and recognized holidays aren’t business days.
A session canceled or changed with fewer than two business days’ notice is considered used and deducted from the package.
Missed appointments are also considered used.
If you voluntarily reduce or end a package, completed, missed, late-canceled, and otherwise chargeable sessions are recalculated at the standard $247 individual-session rate. Any eligible refund is based on the remaining balance and may be zero.
If you voluntarily discontinue treatment before completing the required Client Preparation Guide before your second session, the remaining package balance is nonrefundable.
Different terms apply when Boise Hypnosis ends treatment, determines that continuing would be inappropriate, or agrees in writing that exceptional circumstances justify another arrangement.
These policies protect the time reserved for you and the substantial preparation completed before each individualized session.
Find Out What Your Pattern Requires
The prices above show exactly what the available programs cost.
Your consultation and Personalized Treatment Plan show which program fits the work.
Start with the free guide. It explains how hypnosis works, what makes UAM-based treatment different, what serious treatment requires, and whether this approach makes sense for the change you want.
Once you’ve read the Guide and are ready and able to begin, the AI Assistant conducts the brief preliminary readiness and fit assessment. If the screening indicates that a consultation is appropriate, the AI Assistant helps you schedule one with John. John personally confirms suitability and treatment fit during the consultation before recommending a program.
